MUSO MIXER & BATTLE OF THE BANDS MUSIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM LAUNCH
This event has been sitting in the 'save the date' category as we finalised how it will run and now...we'd like to invite you to join us on Saturday 29 August for a Muso Mixer and launch of the Battle of the Bands music development program, supported by the City of Greater Geraldton and Rio Tinto.
We'll also enjoy a performance by Batavia Butchery, a local act who have written songs about the history of the Batavia shipwreck, mutiny and the characters involved and has brought them to life through "heavy music for a heavy topic".
If you're a musician or duo seeking more members to build a band for the annual Battle of the Bands competition in November, this event is your place to start!

We'll meet on the tree deck from 5pm for registration, networking and presentations and then make our way up to the performance lounge at 6pm.
This event is an all-ages activity, but please note, to be eligible for the Battle of the Bands competition all band members must be over 10 years of age.
Snacks provided, with all cool drink sales going towards our 'Back the Booth' campaign!

PIANO UNDER THE TREE
Following on from the success of the ABC Community Piano welcome concert earlier this month, we're teaming up with Petit Remi kiosk to roll out the piano under the tree for people to come and play on the 1st Sunday of every month from now til' Christmas.
Where: Petit Remi and Regional Sounds tree deck
When: 1st Sunday of the month, 10am - 1pm

Who: anyone who wants to play can come and play. We'll also set up a PA and microphone for people who want to sing along. If you want to come down with your guitar or other instrument, you're welcome too! We're all just excited to have more music and movement on the tree deck 🙂
